It all started in 2023 with a slab mug class at a local pottery studio. Since that class it has been a whirlwind of learning all the different styles and techniques. Both Shannon and Mike enjoy exploring out in nature from long hikes to kayak adventures to exploring mountains. It was easy to become increasingly interested in taking mud from the earth and making it into something both beautiful and useful.
Shannon gravitates towards hand building and sculpting. Designing stunning nature themed pieces like her very popular leaf themed spoon rests, and platters. Currently she is working on a theme of Christmas ornaments.
Mike has fallen deep for the wheel and throwing mugs bowls and plates. Working on honing his skills on the wheel since learning last year, mike happily makes cute little chunky mugs and bowls and is obsessed with glazing combos. Currently he is also working on ornaments and creating pieces to restock the booth after a busy summer season.
